my friend emma works at a mead bar, is allergic to cherries, and needs to know what the various cherry meads taste like so they can describe it to customers. i am not allergic to cherries, but i am god-awful at explaining flavors in words, which led to us stumbling across a strange sort of mutually-intelligible synesthesia, where i can draw what the meads taste like and emma can describe what flavors i've drawn with bullseye accuracy. it's weird. this is not a skill i've had any reason to use in the rest of my life, but i do think it's kinda neat, so i'm gonna collect those little cherry flavor doodles here.
