it's december 31, 1926, and the new year is just around the corner. with prohibition in full swing, a secret speakeasy party is exactly where a fun-loving flapper like dottie plans to ring in the new year. but though the drinks are flowing, things seem a bit off all over; host helen hasn't been seen all night, the spirits seem stronger than usual, and the temperature is hotter than any late winter's night should be. and why doesn't dottie recognize that mysterious woman in blue tending bar?
